The Safer Lewisham Partnership is the statutory crime and disorder partnership for Lewisham. The Partnership has a duty to conduct an audit of crime, disorder, anti-social behaviour and drug misuse in Lewisham, to consult widely on the findings and set strategies to tackle the issues identified. The Partnership meets quarterly and is chaired by the Mayor of Lewisham.

To deliver against the Boroughs priorities and agenda on Crime Reduction, safer Lewisham and drugs and alcohol in line with the LAA and partnership outcomes.

• To provide strategic oversight management, decision making and accountability
• To assist with areas which may not be delivering against targets
• To oversee the allocation of resources against identified need and priorities
• To review LAA targets and other performance outcomes against the work of the Partnership
• To task the Performance and Delivery Board and partners as appropriate.
• To ensure equity in representation and that equality and diversity issues are followed in the work of the partnership

• Achievement in delivering on the sustainable communities strategy priority outcomes.
• Achievements in the public feeling safer and having confidence in the Partnership in delivery.
• Achievement of the LAA targets
• Achievement of the Crime, YOS and DAST targets
