The Lewisham Strategic Partnership (LSP) is led by the LSP Board. Chaired by Lewisham’s directly-elected Mayor, the LSP Board coordinates partnership activity in Lewisham and is responsible for delivering the outcomes of Shaping our future – Lewisham’s Sustainable Community Strategy and Opportunity and Well-being for All – Lewisham’s Local Area Agreement.

The key responsibilities of the LSP Board are to:

• Lead on the development, delivery and review of Shaping our future and Opportunity and wellbeing for all
• Work jointly with the thematic partnerships to achieve delivery of the Shaping our future priority outcomes, the Local Area Agreement and related strategies and plans
• Receive regular reports from the thematic partnerships on their activities to deliver the Local Area Agreement and progress against their priorities
• Oversee progress towards delivery against all targets in the LAA based on existing data and information provided by thematic partnerships and individual partner organisations
• Provide opportunities for the key issues affecting Lewisham to be discussed
• Provide six-monthly performance reports on the Local Area Agreement to the Government Office for London

• Performing strongly against the targets set out in Opportunity and Well-being for All – Lewisham’s Local Area Agreement

• Leading a strong, well-regarded borough through mature and effective partnership arrangements and valuable LSP, whose work delivers improved local outcomes.
